"T-Sentiment Reason For TRS Victory"

The union minister said that the Congress high command will introspect on the results of the by-polls.

Minister of State for Human Resource Development D Purandareswari on Saturday said that everyone should respect the verdict of the people who voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the by-elections to 12 assembly constituencies in Telangana region.

The daughter of former chief minister late N T Rama Rao, Purandareswari said the sentiment of the people is strongly in favour of a separate state.

The union minister said that the party high command will introspect on the results of the by-polls and try to find the cause of defeat of the Congress party.

She also attributed the TRS victory due to the strong Telangana sentiment.
