The Andhra Pradesh TDP asked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to stop troubling AP by constructing projects that were not mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.
Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan on Sunday, MLA Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu alleged that the TRS government was trying to weaken the Krishna River Water Management Board (KRMB). He said that Andhra Pradesh had a right to supervise the joint assets as per the IX and X schedules of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organization Act.
He added it was atrocious on the part of the Telangana government to say that it wouldn't honour the suggestions of the AP government when it addressed letters. He alleged that the Telangana government was trying to "trouble" Andhra Pradesh in all aspects.
Targeting YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Gali said that Jagan was not talking against KCR though he (Jagan) was trying constantly to harass Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, Jagan had "merged" his party into the TRS in Telangana, Gali alleged.
Claiming that Jagan was stoutly opposing the construction of Amaravathi, Polavaram and Pattiseema, Gali said that the YSRCP had to shed its "destructive" attitude. Finding fault with Jagan for saying that a Rs 1 lakh-crore scam took place in Amaravathi's construction, Gali asked Jagan how corruption could take place when nothing had even started in Amaravathi.
