Barely 10 days after the killer of her parents was convicted and
sentenced to life in prison, Anusha's elder sister, Prasanna, committed suicide by jumping from the hostel building of Narayana College in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
Anusha was stalked by one Matta Rajesh, who had also attacked and stabbed her parents to death on September 17th, 2009.
According to sources, Prasanna, who was pursuing intermediate first year in the college, ended her life by jumping from the hostel building. The reason for committing suicide is yet to be known.
After the death of Anusha's parents, Prasanna was financially supported by a trust set up by actor Murali Mohan.
The youngest of the three sisters, Nalini, is studying in Class VI. She is being supported financially by a trust set up by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu.
Reacting to the news, Anusha stated that Prasanna was undergoing immense mental tension since the loss of her parents. She said that this could be the reason for Prasanna taking the extreme step.
Tragedies began to haunt the Narla family ever since Matta Rajesh set his eyes on Anusha. Though the girl spurned his advances, he ended up taking the lives of her parents, and leaving her grievously injured.
