Spl. Task Force Begins Consultations On AP Bifurcation
After holding consultations with government officials and institutions for about 3 days, the Task Force will submit a report to the GoM on Telangana.

The Special Task Force, headed by former Director General of CRPF K Vijayakumar, on Tuesday, held a consultative meeting with senior officials in relation to the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
The Task Force, constituted by the UPA Government on Monday, has been assigned the responsibility of studying the security scenario, division of assets, and administrative framework, to facilitate the division of state.
After holding consultations with government officials and institutions for about 3 days, the Task Force will submit a report to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana.
On Tuesday, the Task Force held a meeting, at the Centre For Good Governance, which was attended by BSF IG Santosh Mehra, Principal Secretary Ajay Mishra, NHA Joint Director Rajiv Sharma, APPA Director Damodar, ACB Director Kumar Vishwajit, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma, DGP (Operations) J V Ramudu, APSRTC MD A K Khan and other senior officials.
Talking to reporters after his arrival earlier, Vijayakumar said that the consultations would primarily be aimed at proper distribution of assets to ensure that both the states remain stronger.
He said that he would brief the media after the end of consultation process which could go on for 2 days.
It may be mentioned that former Director Generals of Police H J Dora, C Anjaneya Reddy, A K Mohanty and K Aravinda Rao have reportedly been made part of the consultative committee engaged in deliberations with the Task Force. (INN)
