Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday unveiled a statue of Louis Braille at Nalgonda X Roads, Malakpet, on the occasion of Braille's 202nd birth anniversary.

This special cell will have its own separate staff, which will cater to the needs of the disabled.
The function marking Louis Braille's birth anniversary was organised with the joint coordination of the state government's Department Of Disabled Welfare, the AP Vikalangula Co-Operative Corporation, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and disabled welfare organizations.
