Former minister J C Diwakar Reddy, on Saturday, said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi looks firm in implementing the decision on the formation of a Telangana state.
Talking to reporters, Diwakar Reddy said that there are no clear indications of the Congress High Command going back on its decision on Telangana.
However, he said that the party's Central leaders were slightly inclined towards the proposal of Rayala Telangana.
Stating that he would retire from politics in case the state is divided, Diwakar Reddy predicted that Congress candidates would lose their deposits in the next elections after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. (INN)
