SCCL To Start 12 New Mines, Give 12,000 Jobs: KCR
The Telangana CM announced that Singareni Collieries was going to start 12 new coal mines in the coming year, which would provide 12,000 jobs.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that the Singareni Collieries Corporation Limited (SCCL) was going to start 12 new coal mines, of which six would be underground mines and six would be opencast mines, in the coming year.
These 12 new mines would provide 12,000 jobs, he said, and added that some people had already been recruited.
Giving a reply to the questions raised by the TRS MLAs Somarapu Satyanarayana, Putta Madhukar and Durgam Chinnaiah in the Telangana Assembly during Question Hour on Friday, the Chief Minister said he would attend the inauguration function to be held for one mine in the month of December.
He said that the government was contemplating setting up three Singareni Skill Development Institutes in Singareni Collieries to train the locals to ensure jobs for them. The government would in general extend a helping hand to the Singareni workers in all issues concerning them, he said.
