Hyderabad | 20th August 2016
Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma issued orders to the police department today to transfer seven police officials including Siddipet DSP Sridhar Goud in connection with Kuknoorpally SI Ramakrishna Reddy's suicide.

The DGP stated that the DSP, CI Venkataiah and CI Ramanjaneyulu would be attached to the DGP office henceforth. ASI Prakash, Head Constables Muthyam and Sambani, and constables Yadava Reddy and Nagi Reddy would instead be attached to the Medak SP office, he said.

Meanwhile, the deceased's kin met Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and submitted a memorandum demanding that he initiate legal action against those responsible for Ramakrishna Reddy's suicide.

Ramakrishna Reddy's wife Dhanalakshmi alleged that the DSP and CIs had harassed her husband for money, and urged the minister to get a case filed against the accused.
