Sharmila Meets Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi In Delhi

YSRTP Founder President Y S Sharmila today met the Congress' former president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the national capital.

Speaking to media persons later, she said that she had discussed issues related to Telangana with them, and that it was part of her continuous efforts to help the people of the State.

The meeting of Sharmila with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi assumed importance in the wake of news reports that she would merge her party with the Congress.

She has already announced that she will contest in the upcoming Assembly elections from the Palair constituency.
