Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Thursday requested Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to withdraw cases filed against him by the then Kiran Kumar Reddy government.
Speaking to media persons at the State Secretariat, Shankar Rao asked KCR to examine the cases filed against him by the previous government.
Describing the cases as false and fabricated, he said that he was implicated in the cases as he waged a fight against corruption through the cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy, Gali Janardhan Reddy and others.
He said that all the cases filed against him by Kiran Kumar Reddy and the then DGP V Dinesh Reddy should be withdrawn.
Shankar Rao also demanded an increase in his personal security. (INN)
