Congress Leaders Are In Touch With MIM: Danam
Danam claimed that the MIM's relations have strained with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy at a personal level and that the MIM leaders are cordial with the COngress leadership.
Labour Minister and Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagender on Monday claimed that the Central leadership of the Congress party is in good terms with the leaders of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party.
Danam disclosed this while speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here.
When asked about Congress party's possible alliance with the MIM, he said that the Congress High Command would take a decision in this regard.
He claimed that the MIM's relations have strained with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at a personal level and that the MIM leaders are still in a cordial relationship with the Central leadership.
The GHCC chief, who also submitted a report on the party's prospects to AICC Observer Vijay Dharni, said that the Congress party should announce the candidates for both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats for next elections at the earliest.
He said that an early nomination would enable the candidates to take up a campaign in their respective constituencies in an organised manner.
He said that "last minute nominations" minimize the winning chances of candidates. (INN)
