A magistrate hearing the multi-crore Satyam accounting scam case dismissed the discharged petitions filed by 2 accused in the case as 'unwarranted and not maintainable', and adjourned hearing till July 29.
The XXI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate dismissed the discharge petitions filed by Ch Srisailam and Suryanarayana Raju. Suryanarayana Raju is the brother of main accused B Ramalinga Raju.
The state High Court had granted bail to both Suryanarayana Raju and Ch Srisailam on July 20 along, with 3 others.
Except for main accused and founder of the company B Ramalinga Raju, all the other 9 accused have been granted bail. Raju is currently undergoing treatment for Hepatitis C at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences.
