Satyam Case: High Court Stays ED Notice

In a move that will cause Mahindra Satyam much relief, the Andhra Pradesh High court has stayed the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) order attaching Satyam's bank deposits worth Rs. 822 crore.

Hearing the case, Justice P V Sanjay Kumar also stayed a notice issued to Mahindra Satyam by the adjudicating authority, asking company officials to appear before the ED with regard to the B Ramalinga Raju money-laundering case.

The ED had attached the company's fixed deposits worth in a case related to previous management. (INN)
