Sania Is Telangana Industrial Brand Ambassador

Tennis Star Sania Mirza has been appointed the "Brand Ambassador" of Telangana's industry.

Speaking after handing over the letter of appointment and a Rs 1 crore cheque to Sania Mirza, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said that Mirza was the pride of Hyderabad, and hoped that she would soon become the no. 1 doubles player, rising from her current 5th position in the world.

He said that the government would extend all support to provide her the best training and other facilities.

Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, Special Chief Secretary (Industries) K Pradeep Chandra and others were also present. (INN)
