Following the communal riots in Sangareddy, the state police brought Sanga Reddy Town Circle Inspector P Chandrashekar to the Vacancy Reserve in the Medak Police Headquarters.
According to Police spokesperson and Additional DGP (Law and Order) S A Huda, the government is quite serious on taking action against those responsible for the Sangareddy communal strife that occurred on the night of 29 March.
He said it would deal stringently with anyone found responsible for inaction.
Huda said that the Circle Inspector has been brought to the Vacancy Reserve pending the receipt of Rajiv Ratan's report, which was about the communal violence and the personnel responsible for the incident or inaction thereafter.
It may be mentioned here that Hyderabad Region IGP Rajiv Ratan was directed to submit a report about the incident soon. (INN)
