Sambasivudu Murder Case: 5 More Held
The Nalgonda district police have arrested 5 more persons in connection with the murder of former Maoist and TRS politburo member Sambasivudu.

The Bhuvanagiri police in the Nalgonda district on Saturday arrested 5 more persons in connection with the murder of former Maoist and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) politburo member Sambasivudu, who was brutally murdered near Gokaram village, Velgonda mandal of Nalgonda district, on March 26th.
The arrested have been identified as Arun, Krishna, Naresh, Ravi and Lingam. While Lingam hails from the Ranga Reddy district, the rest belong to the Nalgonda district.
The police had also seized a vehicle, believed to have been used by the accused, from Vanasthalipuram on the outskirts of Hyderabad city.
The police are shifting these accused to the Valigonda police station for further interrogation.
Earlier, the police had identified the prime accused in connection with the murder of Sambasivudu as Naeem, who is still at large.
With Saturday's arrest, the number of people in custody in connection with the murder has increased to 10. Earlier, the police had arrested 5 persons in connection with the case. Those accused had been identified as Suresh, Rakesh, Srikanth, Sridhar and Amar.
According to reports, the reason behind the brutal murder of Sambasivudu was a land dispute between the former Maoist and Naeem.
Superintendent Of Police Rajesh Kumar stated that out of 12 persons who had attacked the former Maoist, 10 persons were directly involved in the murder, and all the accused persons belonged to the Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts.
Sambasivudu was brutally murdered on March 26th while he was returning to Hyderabad from the Nalgonda district after attending "Dhoom Dham", a program that was held in support of a separate Telangana state. (INN)
