The Telangana state government has clarified that Tollywood actress Samantha has not been appointed as the brand ambassador of the handloom sector in the state.

The Telangana state government has clarified that Tollywood actress Samantha has not been appointed as the brand ambassador of the handloom sector in the state.

To a question by Chikka Devadasu, national president of Chenetha Vargala Chaitanya Vedika, under RTI Act about whether the Government of Telangana had declared actress Samantha as the brand ambassador for handlooms, the PRO of the Handlooms & Textiles and Apparel Export Parks replied in the negative.
