"Blackmail" Remarks: Naidu Slammed
Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath condemns Chandrababu Naidu's recent statement in which he accused Kiran Kumar Reddy of practising "blackmail" politics.
Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath on Saturday condemned Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu's recent statement in which he accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of practising "blackmail" politics.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party, Sailajanath said that the Chief Minister has never indulged in blackmail politics. In contrast, it was Naidu who had blackmailed the entire NTR family to stay in power, he alleged.
"Naidu preferred political gains over family relations, and has also resorted to blackmail politics," he said.
The minster claimed that the CM has not only ensured the maintenance of law and order in the state, but has also taken up steps towards the state's development.
Referring to the investment proposals worth Rs. 6.5 lakh crore received during the Partnership Summit, he said that this was made possible only due to the CM's efforts.
Sailajanath demanded that Naidu refrain from making baseless allegations against the Chief Minister without verifying facts. (INN)
