Rs. 1000 Crore "Swachch Hyderabad" Campaign Soon
The campaign, christened "Swachch Telangana - Swachch Hyderabad", will be held from 16th to 20th May, and will be spearheaded by Telangana CM KCR.

The Telangana government will launch a five-day "Swachch Hyderabad" campaign on May 16 with a budget of Rs 1,000 crores.
The campaign, christened "Swachch Telangana - Swachch Hyderabad", will be held from 16th to 20th May, and will be launched by Governor E S L Narasimhan.
Ministers, elected representatives, officials, businessmen, industrialists, institutions and common people will participate in the campaign, claimed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao during a review meeting on Wednesday.
For the Swachch Hyderabad campaign, the entire city will be divided into 400 areas. While a 15-member committee will supervise the works, about 6,000 people will be put in charge of getting one-and-a-half kilometre stretches cleaned.
An awareness camp for the programme will be launched on May 6.
While stating that he himself will participate in the programme, the Chief Minister called upon different sections of the society, especially the corporates, to participate in the program. (INN)
