Suspended RRB chairman S M Sharma, the main accused in the sensational Railway Recruitment Board question paper leakage scam, and Senior Divisional Personnel Officer G Sethi, were remanded in Judicial custody till July 1 by the CBI Special Court in Nampally on Thursday.
The two were produced before the court after they were
brought to the city on Wednesday.
CBI counsel P V Ramana told media persons later that the investigating body had pleaded for a 10-day police custody of the accused.
The court will hear the arguments on this petition on Friday.
The CBI had earlier arrested 8 others, one of them the suspended RRB chairman's son, alleging their complicity in the recruitment scam. These 8 accused had been handed over to the CBI custody on Wednesday.
