Roja Suspended From AP Assembly For One Year

YSR Congress Party member and actress Roja was today suspended from the AP Assembly for one year in an unprecedented decision.

Legislature Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution seeking the suspension of Roja stating that the Nagari MLA had made highly objectionable comments against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao approved the resolution and announced the suspension of Roja from the House for a year.
