Naidu Vows To Punish Call Money Scam Culprits

The Andhra Pradesh CM also alleged that the YSR Congress members were creating a ruckus in the House deliberately as they feared exposure of their complicity.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today informed the Assembly that his government would take stern action against all the accused involved in the call money cum sex racket.

Participating in the debate on the call money scam, the Chief Minister informed the House that 188 persons were allegedly involved in the scam. Of them, 65 persons belonged to the YSR Congress Party, 20 to the TDP, 12 to the Congress, six to the CPI, one to the CPM, four to the BJP and two to the Loksatta. 78 others had no political affiliation.

He also alleged that the YSR Congress Party members were creating a ruckus in the House deliberately as they feared that their complicity in the scam would be exposed.

He added that his government was considering bringing in a law to curb this type of trade/business.
