Tirupathi Reddy, the brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, today said that he would be ready to demolish his house if it was found to be illegal.
Responding to the notices issued by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) to the residents of Amar Society, including to him, for removal of encroachments in the buffer zone of Durgam Cheruvu, Tirupathi Reddy said that he would be ready to vacate the house and extend all possible support to the officials of HYDRA.
Speaking to the media, Reddy said that he had received notices for the encroachment, but had not been contacted by any official so far.
"I had bought the property at Amar society in 2016-17. I had no information about the building which is reportedly in FTL, when I purchased the property for my residence," he claimed.
Reddy lambasted BRS leaders for politicising his property and levelling baseless remarks against him, just due to him being a brother of the Chief Minister.
