Revanth Reddy Warns CM About Extension Of Lockdown

The Congress MP demanded that the Telangana CM make alternative arrangements before deciding to extend the ongoing lockdown in the state.
Hyderabad | 7th April 2020
Congress MP A Revanth Reddy today demanded that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao make alternative arrangements before deciding to extend the ongoing lockdown in the state.

He warned the state government that any kind of failure in making alternative arrangements would lead to frustration among the people.

He made these remarks while addressing party workers at the Jubilee Hills party office.

He demanded that the state government provide basic facilities to all daily wage earners in order to prevent them from coming onto the roads.

Referring to the statement of the CM that there would not be any coronavirus case in the state after April 10, he asked the CM how he was then now saying that the extension might go up to June 3.

He also referred to several other contradictory statements of the CM over the last couple of days, and wondered if the CM had any control over his tongue.

He went to the extent of demanding that the DGP file a criminal case against the CM for his false utterances such as a paracetamol could kill the coronavirus.

Reddy alleged that the CM had become an indirect brand ambassador for the spread of the coronavirus in the state, and advised the CM not to behave as if he knew everything.

Reddy also checked in on the charity works of the Revanth Reddy Mitra Mandali which has reportedly undertaken a drive to distribute essential items to the poor of the city, on the occasion.
