Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today visited the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta in Yadadri Bhongir district.
He also participated in the rituals related to the temple's annual Brahmotsavams which are being held from March 11 to March 21.
The CM along with his wife came to the temple in a special flight from the Begumpet airport. He was visiting the temple for the first time as the Chief Minister, and was accorded a grand welcome by the temple staff.
Accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka; ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Konda Surekha; Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah; Congress MLAs and officials, Reddy offered silk clothes to the presiding deity and performed special pujas.
The CM and his wife then took blessings from the Lord amidst the chanting Vedic hymns by the temple priests.
