Revanth Reddy To Fast For Mallannasagar Displaced
The Telangana TDP working president said he would go on a hunger strike seeking justice for the displaced persons of the proposed Mallannasagar project.
Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy said that he would go on a 48-hour hunger strike demanding justice for the displaced persons of the proposed Mallannasagar project.
Speaking to the media at Choutuppal, the TDP leader said that his Party would ensure justice to the villagers who were displaced by the project.
"We will see that Irrigation Minister Harish Rao does justice to the victims of Mallannasagar," he said.
He also demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao pay adequate compensation to the farmers by selling his own farmhouse.
Reddy also said that there should be a social boycott of MP Gutha Sukender Reddy and MLAs Bhaskar Rao and Ravindra Naik who had defected to the TRS after getting elected on the tickets of other Parties.
