Revanth Reddy Slams Power Cuts For Farm Sector, Transco Responds

The Telangana Congress president said that the farmers of the state were suffering a lot due to the frequent power cuts to the sector.
Hyderabad | 15th April 2022
Telangana Congress president Revanth Reddy today demanded that the state government ensure uninterrupted power supply for the farm sector of the state until the crop-cutting works were over.

Taking to his official Twitter account, he said that the farmers of the state were suffering a lot due to the frequent power cuts to the sector.

For good measure, he also said that CM K Chandrashekar Rao had destroyed the power sector with his wrong policies, and that the CM had received huge commissions in the purchase of the power.

Meanwhile, the CMD of TS Transco and TS Genco D Prabhakar Rao responded on the issue and agreed that the power supply was abruptly stopped in some places of the State, and added that the agriculture sector faced some problems due to that.

He said that the companies would now ensure 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to the farm sector, and urged the farmers to not worry about that any more.
