Revanth Reddy Releases DSC Notification For 11,062 Teacher Posts

In good news for the unemployed youth in Telangana, a mega DSC notification has been issued for the filling up of 11,062 teacher posts.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy released the notification along with Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah and other officials at his residence today.

Of the 11,062 posts, 6,508 are for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs), followed by 2,629 for School Assistants, 727 for Language Pandis and 182 for PETs. There are also 220 posts for School Assistants and 796 posts for SGTs in the special education category.

As part of issuing the DSC notification, the State government issued an order on February 28, cancelling the previous DSC notification issued on September 6, 2023, for 5,089 posts.

However, officials said that the old applications would continue to be valid, and that the candidates who had applied in response to the previous notification need not apply again.
