Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today extended medical assistance to Rakesh, a young student suffering from Pseudo Muscular Dystrophy, after learning about his family's financial struggles.
The CM directed officials to ensure immediate medical care and additional support to the student.
Following his orders, OSD to the CM Vemula Srinivasulu spoke to Rakesh's family and assured them of full government support.
In addition to medical treatment, the government will provide Rakesh with a charging vehicle to help him commute, as he is unable to walk due to the severity of his condition.
Rakesh, a resident of Rangayya Palli village in Hanumakonda district, is currently studying in Intermediate first year at a private college in Mulkanur.
His parents, Gulla Samaiah and Lakshmi, expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his intervention.
