TRS leader Jeevan Reddy today reminded the TDP revellers that the bail granted by the High Court to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy in the note-for-vote case was only temporary, and not a permanent reprieve from jail.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, the TRS legislator poked fun at TDP leaders and Reddy's family members for celebrating Reddy's bail.
"It's just bail, and the investigation to slap notices and book other key players behind the cash row is on," he said.
His remarks assume significance as the ACB is gearing up to move the Supreme Court in a couple of days against the bail.
The TRS leader said that the ACB was still investigating the note-for-vote case, and that two more accused were yet to give their versions in this regard. The law would take its own course and the TDP leader would not go scot-free, he said. (NSS)
