Dharmapuri Arvind Is A Loafer: Jeevan Reddy

TRS leader and Karimnagar MLC T Jeevan Reddy today lambasted the leaders of the BJP for their criticism of the Telangana government and of Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Speaking to the media, Reddy claimed that the BJP had turned into the "Big Jokers Party" and that party leader and Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind was but a "big loafer" who was a member of the party.

He added that it was unfair of Arvind to criticise other leaders when he himself had failed to establish a turmeric board in Nizamabad even though he had "stated on bond paper" that he would do so.

"Arvind has no right to talk ill of KCR, KTR, Harish Rao, Kavitha or any other TRS leaders when he himself has not been able to serve the people satisfactorily. He simply does not have the stature to take on someone like our CM," the leader thundered.

"The Opposition should keep in mind the fact that Mission Bhagiratha has been appreciated by the world and Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Shekawat had also lauded it in Parliament. However, a fake MP who does little for his constituency has been complaining about poor power supply. He has been telling lies which is clear from the fact that even the Centre has praised our government for providing stable power to the people. In fact, the Modi government has been emulating Telangana's programs. If the programmes are not good, why would this be the case? Also, if KCR is not a good CM, I wonder why people are voting for the TRS in every election," he stated.

Further, the MLC said that the KCR regime was so committed to ensuring the welfare of its people that it was generating funds on its own for its projects and programs as the Centre was not sanctioning any funds for the state.

"The leaders of the BJP should stop talking of sending KCR to jail. And anyway, even if they conduct padayatras or crawl on their knees, their party will not come to power in Telangana as the people will not tolerate them if they continue to criticise KCR and other TRS leaders," he asserted.

Reddy's rant comes after Arvind, in a media interaction yesterday, voiced his many objections against the "poor governance" of the KCR regime.
