In a rare act of devotion and generosity, Muttineni Venkateswarlu, a retired government employee, donated his residential property worth over Rs 4 crore to the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta.
The property - a G+3 building with a penthouse located in Tilak Nagar, Hyderabad - was formally registered in the name of the presiding deity at the Sub-Registrar's Office, Chikkadpally.
The registration was completed in the presence of Temple Executive Officer (EO) Venkata Rao, who later received the documents.
To mark the occasion, temple authorities felicitated Venkateswarlu with a sacred shawl and prasadam. The EO praised the noble gesture, and said that the divine blessings of the Lord would always remain with the donor and his family.
The contribution also drew praise from government quarters. Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer congratulated Venkateswarlu, describing the donation as an inspiring example of devotion and service.
Venkateswarlu's offering now stands as a significant contribution to the Yadagirigutta temple, reinforcing Telangana's enduring tradition of faith-driven philanthropy.
