Telangana Nagara Samithi president and Nagarkurnool MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Sunday demanded that Information Minister D K Aruna be removed from the cabinet.
Talking to reporters at the Assembly's media point, Nagam alleged that Aruna and Bharatsimha Reddy are involved in black-marketing essential commodities. He further alleged that they were extorting money from contractors, especially those dealing in irrigation and R&B projects. He expressed concern over the silence of the state government, and also the opposition parties on their alleged activities.
Demanding that Aruna be removed from the State Cabinet immediately, Nagam threatened to launch a massive protest if action is not taken. (INN)
