Tollywood hero Ravi Teja said that his family members and he did not have the courage to see his brother Bharath Raju's mutilated body after
the latter's death in an accident recently.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Ravi Teja said that his family members were in shock after the death, and that all the news showing his family and him in the social media and news channels as being insensitive to the incident was incorrect. He said that there was also no truth in the reports that they had got the last rites of Bharath done by junior artists, and that his uncle performed the rituals.
On his participation in a film shooting on the day, Ravi Teja said that he had joined shooting on the day after his brother's death. He said that as the shooting was with 25 artistes, it was not proper for him to abstain from it.
He also refuted news reports that he had taken selfies with his fans with a smiling face in the aftermath. He said that he was pained by the news stories about his family after Bharath's death. He said that some people were writing whatever they wanted in the social media, crossing their limits, and urged them not to do so.
