Rasamayi Balakishan, Ponnam Prabhakar Get Into Fight

A heated argument took place between TRS MLA Rasamayi Balakishan and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar at a Babu Jagjivan Ram birth anniversary celebration function today.

A heated argument took place between Manakonduru MLA Rasamayi Balakishan and former Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar at a Babu Jagjivan Ram birth anniversary celebration function today.

Speaking on the occasion, when Rasamayi said that Jagjivan Ram had criticized the Congress for showing discrimination against him, Ponnam objected to it, resulting in a wordy duel between them.

Rasamayi advised Ponnam to read the 1977 history. Ponnam retorted that the TRS government was taking back lands given to the dalits, and demanded that the state government make the report on the Nerella incident public.

Interrupting Ponnam's diatribe a person from Jammikunta shouted that the then Congress government had filed an SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act case against him. However, the police shifted him from the meeting place.
