Senior IAS officer Ranjeev Acharya has been appointed the Incharge Vice-Chancellor of the Osmania University and the Dr B R Ambedkar Open University.

The Telangana Government on Friday appointed senior IAS officer Ranjeev R Acharya as the Incharge Vice-Chancellor of the Osmania University and the Dr B R Ambedkar Open University.

Acharya is currently the Principal Secretary to the Government (Education Department).

She will be the Incharge VC for both the universities with immediate effect until further orders.

Ranjeev Acharya is the wife of IAS officer B P Acharya. (INN)
