Ambati Rambabu Slams Government

Ambati Rambabu on Monday criticized the government for being a mute spectator while the opposition parties slandered former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Describing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu as the most corrupt politician in India, Ambati Rambabu, a staunch loyalist of former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, on Monday stated that Naidu has no moral right to speak against former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Talking to mediapersons here, Rambabu said, "It is not our culture to make charges of corruption or 'heinous' statements against persons who have passed away."

Rambabu criticized the state government for being a mute spectator while the opposition parties slandered former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and termed him a 'robber'. "Instead of expressing solidarity with Agriculture Minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy, government should rebut such baseless charges," he added.

He challenged the state government to order the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) to look into Chandrababu Naidu's property.

Rambabu pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu, who had only 2 acres of land during his student days, has now become the owner of thousands of crores of rupees within the span of a few years.

The suspended PCC Secretary expressed confidence that the people of the state will give a fitting lesson to Naidu in the next Assembly elections, and accused him of playing cheap and corrupt politics.

"Unable to digest the political growth of Jaganmohan Reddy, the TDP started mudslinging against the YSR family," said Rambabu.

He suspected the involvement of a few Congress leaders in helping the TDP members target Jaganmohan Reddy in order to put an end to his political career.
