With Ram Gopal Varma's controversial film 'Rakta Charitra-I' hitting screens simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil on Oct 22nd, the film director is planning to watch the film with his co-stars in Rayalaseema region.
The film director will fly by helicopter to Anantapur to watch the movie there. In this connection, the film director had called on Anantapur Superintendent of Police and had a discussion with him.
Varma also refuted media reports that he had cancelled his visit to Anantapur in the wake of threats issued by some factionist leaders.
'Rakta Charitra-I' is based on the real life story of Paritala Ravindra, former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader. The film is set in the backdrop of Rayalaseema factionism.
The film stars Vivek Oberoi, Surya Sivakumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Priyamani and Radhika Apte in the lead roles, and Kota Sreenivas Rao, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sushant Singh, Zarina Wahab, Ashwini Kalsekar and Sushmita Mukherjee in other key roles.
The film has been produced jointly by Madhu Mantena, Sheetal Vinod Talwar, Chinna Vasudeva Reddy and Raj Kumar. Producer C Kalyan is presenting it in Telugu on Cinergy movies productions banner.
Music has been composed by Mani Sharma and cinematography is by Amol Rathod.
