Due to the torrential downpour, vehicular traffic came to a standstill at several places in the city.

Heavy rains lashed several places in the twin cities on Friday.

The downpour affected areas including Secretariat, Nampally, Lakdi-ka-pul, Abids, Koti, Dilsukhnagar, L B Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Secunderabad, Warasiguda, Mettuguda, Uppal, Parsigutta, Addagutta, Ramanthapur, Osmania University, Tarnaka, Habsiguda and several other places.
