The top Congress leader changed his tour plan at the last minute on Thursday, skipping Hyderabad, and choosing to land up directly in Nirmal from Adilabad.

AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will conduct his Rythu Bharosa Padayatra in Nirmal of the Adilabad district from 7 am on Friday.
Gandhi will meet the families of the farmers who committed suicides, in the Koratikal, Laxmanchanda, Pottupally, Rachapur and Wadial villages as part of the padayatra. He will address a farmers' meeting at Wadial village at 4 pm on Friday.
However, Gandhi changed his tour plan at the last minute on Thursday, skipping Hyderabad. Originally he was scheduled to reach Hyderabad at 4 pm today, and was to address a meeting of PCC functionaries and OU students at RGIA's Haj Terminal. He was also likely to address small corner meetings at Shamshabad, Masab Tank, Panjagutta, Begumpet, Bowenpally, Suchitra crossroads and Medchal. And he was to pass through Toopran, Kamareddy, Dichpally, Mamidipally, Perikit and Balkonda to reach Nirmal.
The TPCC leaders had made elaborate arrangements for these meetings. Greater Hyderabad Congress president D Nagender had even arranged lunch for the Congress leaders at the airport.
However, they got upset after learning about a change in Gandhi's schedule, where he bypassed Hyderabad altogether. TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka informed about the change in the Congress Vice-President's tour, and said that he would reach Nirmal via Nanded in Maharashtra.
He claimed that Rahul would visit Hyderabad within a month. (INN)
