Rahul Gandhi's emissary Amar Kale has started his tour of Ranga Reddy district to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the party in the district.
The point of interest is that the two parliament seats Chevella and Malkajgiri are represented by union ministers S Jaipal Reddy and Sarve Satyanarayana. While Jaipal Reddy has shown some signs of dissent, and was shifted from Petroleum Ministry allegedly for not toeing the line of Ambanis, Sarve has been very loyal to the high command.
The feedback is to be placed before AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi, so he can chalk out the strategy for the next general elections.
Earlier too, Rahul has sent emissaries to Krishna and Guntur districts, where a majority of seats are held by Congress. Rahul has been following the example of his father Rajiv Gandhi and his uncle Sanjay Gandhi, who used to send some low profile persons to gather information at the ground level. (INN)
