Rachabanda-II From 2 Nov
As many as 1,116 mandals and 134 municipal wards across AP will be covered under Rachabanda II.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said that in Telangana, Rachabanda Phase II will be synchronised with the Re-1-a-kg-rice scheme, Indira Jala Prabha and Rythu Mahila Sadassulu.
The dates for the Rachabanda II Phase in the districts will be finalised by the District Collectors in consultation with the District-in-charges.
The Chief Minister said that the November of 2011 will be declared as a "Welfare Month".
Rachabanda II will be spread over a whole month, from 2 to 30 November, along with other welfare program.
The Chief Minister had a detailed meeting on Rachabanda II with ministers and officials at Secretariat on Tuesday.
Ministers Kanna Lakshminarayana, N Raghuveera Reddy and P Sudarshan Reddy, and Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi and other senior officials attended the meeting.
As many as 1,116 mandals and 134 municipal wards across AP will be covered under Rachabanda II.
On an average, there are 3-4 mandals per constituency, and one mandal will be covered every day.
The program commencing on 2 November will end on 15 November - effectively for 10 working days. The District Collectors have been asked to prepare a list of beneficiaries for ration cards, pensions and housing.
The benefits will be distributed to all the identified eligible beneficiaries at all the mandal headquarters in the MRO/MPDO office, by people's representatives and local officers.
The District Collectors and the Civil Supplies Department have been asked to distribute coupons to the newly-identified eligible beneficiaries.
Similarly, the District Collectors and the Rural Development Department have been instructed to distribute pensions to about 4.64 lakh people, including 48,426 differently-abled people.
The District Collectors have also been asked to expedite the sanction of 2.20 lakh houses to eligible beneficiaries.
The total Number of applications found eligible for the new ration cards are around 30 lakh, out of which 24.40 lakh are applications for white ration cards.
6 lakh houses will be sanctioned under Rachabanda-II, out of the eligible applications registered online.
Also, mandal-level officers will prepare lists showing constituency-wise and mandal-wise availability and access to drinking water and sanitation facilities in school toilets, so as to facilitate on the spot sanctions wherever necessary. (INN)
