Hyderabad | 15th February 2018
Annoyed at the lack of money in the ATMs in the state giving persistent trouble and inconvenience to the people, the Telangana government today urged the Centre to make arrangements to provide adequate cash in the kiosks.

TRS MP from Karimnagar B Vinod Kumar wrote a letter to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to this effect, according to information.

The MP brought to the notice of Jaitley that the ATMs in the state had gone dry and the people were making a hue and cry.

Employees, pensioners, small traders and businessmen were being put to untold misery as they could not draw their money from either the ATMs or the banks, he said, expressed dismay at the prevailing situation in the state.

"The Centre should take immediate measures to ensure that cash is back in the ATMs of Telangana, and provide some relief to the people," he said.
