Purandeshwari Missing From Cabinet Reshuffle List

Despite announcements she made to the media on saturday, her name was conspicuous in its absence in the Cabinet reshuffle list released on Sunday.

Purandeshwari appears to have sawed off the very branch she was sitting on when she went about announcing her "promotion" as a Union minister.

On Saturday, she made an announcement to the media of information she recieved from the Prime Minister about her promotion, and the change in her portfolio to commerce and industry from her current responsibility of human resources development.

The change in her portfolio did indeed occur, but her name was conspicuous in its absence in the Cabinet reshuffle list released on Sunday.
