Several prohibitions have been announced by the Hyderabad Police for the next few days.
City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma has issued certain prohibitory orders to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
As per the orders, holding any kind of public meetings and processions within Hyderabad City, without obtaining prior permission of the concerned Zonal Dy. Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Addl. Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) or Jt. Commissioner of Police (Co-ordination & Security), or the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, have been prohibited.
Carrying of arms including swords, spears, knives, sticks with or without flags, bludgeons, guns, explosives and other offensive weapons are also banned.
Any gathering of persons on public roads or public places disturbing peace and order or causing inconvenience, annoyance or danger to the public has been prohibited.
The collection and carrying of stones or other means of casting missiles is also prohibited.
Further, the use of mikes / public address systems in the Secretariat premises, the Burgula Rama Krishna Rao building, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation building, the Commissioner of Fisheries building, the Mint Compound, the Nizam College and its surroundings, the A. P. Legislative Assembly premises and surrounding roads, Public Gardens, Nampally, Upper Tankbund, the Prasads mall, the Rotary road, the NTR Marg road, and the flyover leading from the Secretariat to the Visweswarayya statue in Khairatabad, has been prohibited.
The orders also prohibit music, singing and speeches, and broadcasting through loud-speakers in the above mentioned areas.
The use of mikes/public address systems, and the use of the horns of vehicles by any organisation and members of the public, in the above mentioned areas stands prohibited.
The prohibitory orders will remain in force till 6am on October 28. (INN)
