The Bar Association of Mahabubnagar held a general body meeting today and in one voice passed a resolution stating that no advocate should take up defence of the four accused in the Priyanka Reddy murder case.
"It is our moral responsibility to give support to the family of the victim," they said, and vowed to stand by the family till it got justice.
"Our association also demands that the police department take serious steps to complete the investigation as early as possible to get the accused the death punishment, by filing the chargesheet as early as possible," S Muralikrishna, General Secretary of the Bar Association, said.
The bar association of Ranga Reddy district courts also decided that no advocate would represent any of the four accused in the crime.
