The CBI special court, on Tuesday, gave its nod to both Jaganmohan Reddy and former Excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao casting their votes in the Presidential elections 2012.
The special court announced this decision after the CBI did not raise an objection to their exercising their franchises in the Presidential elections scheduled to be held on 19 July.
Permitting them to vote, the court directed the CBI to maintain a tight vigil on their way to the polling booth in Hyderabad, and said that Jagan and Mopidevi would not be allowed to talk to anybody.
Earlier, Jaganmohan Reddy and Mopodevi Venkataramana had filed petitions in the special court, seeking permission to cast their votes in the Presidential elections. (INN)
