Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy on Saturday strongly condemned the reports that appeared in a section of the media suggesting the impending removal of Ponnala Lakshmaiah as the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.
Reddy got furious when his reaction was sought on the possible change of guard in the TPCC. Asking the media to act responsibly, Reddy claimed that all Congress leaders had been working unitedly as one family, but a section of media had been trying to create differences among the leaders by publishing fictitious reports.
Jana Reddy dared the media to publish the names of the leaders who were leaking information on the differences among Congress leaders. He said that instead of quoting sources, the media should take on-record statements from the leaders on such issues. (INN)
