Ponguleti Planning To Float Own Party?

Former MP and suspended leader of the BRS Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is reportedly planning to float his own political party.

A new political party has been registered with the name Telangana Rythu Samakhya (TRS) with the Election Commission of India (ECI).

According to sources, it was registered by the close associates of Reddy.

He is apparently planning to field his supporters for 45 Assembly constituencies in the next Assembly elections.

He is focusing on the disgruntled leaders of the BRS who have a good name among the people in their respective Assembly constituencies.

The focus of Ponguleti is on leaders who he believes will not defect to other political parties after winning on his party ticket.

He is said to be chalking out an action plan to ensure the victory of at least 15 MLAs from his party by banking solely upon his support.

It is learnt that the process of the identification of suitable leaders in Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar and Warangal districts has already started.
