TRS MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Thursday questioned the silence of TDP MLAs from the Telangana region, when their counterparts from Seemandhra were raising Samaikyandhra slogans in the State Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to media persons at the Assembly media point here, Pocharam said that the TDP MLAs should raise the Telangana voice in the House instead of "focusing their attention on criticising the TRS".
He said that the Telugu Desam Telangana Forum members have been maintaining a "strategic and questionable" silence in the House on the statehood issue.
Another MLA Jupally Krishna Rao also slammed TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao for targeting the TRS.
Stating that the TRS was the only party fighting with sincerity for the cause of Telangana, he alleged that the TDP is one of the major factors for the delay in the formation of the Telangana state.
He said that the people of Telangana would give a fitting reply to the TDP for its criticism against TRS. (INN)
